Disney4me Posted June 20, 2019 Report Share Posted June 20, 2019 Just one month ago today, we visited Epcot when the removal of the “Leave A Legacy” monoliths began as part of a transformation that is currently underway for the park’s entrance. Epcot Entrance ONE MONTH AGO The beginning phase involved the walls pictured above surrounding the monoliths as the removal began. But now? Epcot Entrance Today Those walls are down, and guests can see the results of the work, as the monoliths that greeted park guests to their right upon entry in Epcot for years are now entirely gone. Epcot Entrance Today Leave A Legacy photo walls are still in place to your left upon entry, though we anticipate the removal of these pieces taking place soon. Epcot Entrance Today As Disney previously announced, the Leave A Legacy photos are being moved to a new setting just outside the park’s gateway to make way for new pathways, green spaces and a newly reimagined fountain as part of the guest entry experience. So, it’s likely we may see walls up again around here sometime soon… Epcot Entrance Today … as construction begins in earnest for what’s to come next to Epcot’s entrance!
