Olympic Gold Medalist Rowdy Gaines Visits Disney’s Blizzard Beach for the ‘World’s Largest Swimming Lesson’

Summer is officially here and I can’t wait to take advantage of the beautiful weather at the Disney Water Parks. Last week, Disney’s Blizzard Beach hosted nearly 200 attendees as part of the 10^th annual “World’s Largest Swimming Lesson.”

Three-time Olympic gold medal swimmer Rowdy Gaines kicked off the event and spoke to attendees about the importance of learning how to swim. During the lesson, children of all ages learned basic swim strokes in Melt-Away Bay. Watch our video to learn more about the event!
