Disney Guests Celebrate National Sunglasses Day at Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks

Grab your best shades, Disney Parks Blog fans, it’s National Sunglasses Day!  And today, with beautiful clear skies in Central Florida, thousands of guests are sporting their coolest sunglasses at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Just hours ago, we ran into several families and guests celebrating National Sunglasses Day with UV protected Mickey Mouse shades at Epcot. Other guests outside the Spaceship Earth attraction are protecting their vision and looking sharp in Disney-inspired shades.

And just for the occasion, we dug up a special image of Mickey Mouse also looking stylish in his bright yellow sunglasses back in 1988. Mickey’s shades were the perfect complement to his yellow shoes!
