Dulce de Leche Cupcake The Contempo Cafe at Disney’s Contemporary Resort has a revolving array of cupcakes and other baked goodies that are usually pretty great! We love trying the different, exciting flavors they offer. The newest cupcake at Contempo Cafe fits in beautifully with the other treats — but has a rich flavor like no other! The Dulce de Leche Cupcake has been at the Contempo before (check out our review waaaaaay back in 2011!), but this time around, it packs an extra punch! This version is stunning with its simple, yet elegant appearance. Inside the fluffy yellow cake is a pile of delectable caramel, which complements the light taste of the cupcake. Dulce de Leche Cupcake It is topped with delicious salted caramel buttercream, candy crisps, a chocolate swirl, and a large salted caramel truffle chocolate. Look how gorgeous this truffle is!!! Dulce de Leche Cupcake The buttercream on the Dulce de Leche Cupcake tastes very similar to the salted caramel buttercream icing from the Banana Caramel Cupcake we previously reviewed and loved. But the BEST part of this cupcake is the ultra-rich filling. It tastes like a spoonful of milky, caramel sauce! What could be better?? Dulce de Leche Cupcake You can pick up this sweet treat for $5.49 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. But, hurry! As with many specialty cupcakes, we don’t know how long this one will stick around!
