This year’s festival will take place August 29, through November 23, 2019, at the Epcot World Showcase. Yes, that’s 87 days, making this year’s festival the longest in the history of the event! There will be celebrity chefs, the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, lots of great activities for the kids and oh yes amazing food and beverages!

Resort Planning:

Brandy B. recommends staying at one of the Disney Resort Hotels just outside Epcot’s International Gateway entrance to make the most of this special ticket event.

“By staying at a BoardWalk resort, you have the ability to walk right into the heart of the festival and easily make your way home each night.”

A Culinary Experience:

Come hungry and be prepared to eat around the world. With more than 30 Global Marketplaces, Guests will be able to enjoy delectable international dishes, and sip on fine wines, craft beers and other beverages from around the world. And did you know you can use your Disney Dining Plan Snack Credits at the Festival? To confirm if your item is on the plan, Eean reminds Guests to look for the Disney Dining Plan Snack Symbol.

Eat to the Beat Concert Series:

The Eat to the Beat Concert Series also returns this year from Aug. 29 – Nov. 19 with 249 concerts in all. Newcomers this year include Lauren Daigle (“You Say”) on September 9 and 10 and India (“Mi Mayor Venganza”) on Oct. 5 and 6. Sugar Ray (“Fly) returns September 30 through October 2, as well as Taylor Dayne (“Tell it to My Heart”) Oct. 3 and 4. Want to be guaranteed concert seating? Anne Marie suggests making a reservation for the Eat to the Beat Dining Package, which is available at participating Epcot restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner reservations.

Candy Sushi, presented by Adventures by Disney:

Calling kids of all ages, to learn how to roll Candy Sushi with a real Disney chef. The family-friendly workshop takes place at Sunshine Seasons and Guests will be taught how to turn sweets into creative maki- or nigari-style rolls. The event happens daily during the festival at 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM. The cost is $10 for Guests of all ages and while reservations are not required they are recommended.
