Video Rewind: Going Behind the Costuming Scenes for ‘Main Street Electrical Parade’ at Disneyland Park

The fan-favorite “Main Street Electrical Parade” is back, lighting up Disneyland park. This spectacular nighttime procession glitters with magic and imagination, featuring characters from beloved Disney stories—including Alice in Wonderland, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, among others.

Today, I wanted to resurface this behind-the-scenes video showing what it takes to get some of our performers ready for the show each night. 

The court dancers in the Cinderella unit have been part of the “Main Street Electrical Parade” since its original run in 1972.

With nightly performances scheduled through September 30, you still have time to get out to Disneyland park before this special engagement “glows” away!
