It’s National Dance Day, and we can’t wait to put on our dancing shoes and head to Disney Parks! Do you have a favorite memory of dancing with your family during the parade, or performing on one of our stages with your dance troupe? There are so many reasons to celebrate the spirit of dance and how it connects us.

In honor of this national holiday, we’d love to share a few ways YOU can celebrate with Disney!

Dancing with Disney Characters, National Dance Day

Show off your best dance moves during your vacation! Move to the beat with your favorite Disney Junior Characters during the Disney Junior Dance Party! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney California Adventure park. You can also join in the fun at the Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park or the Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party at Magic Kingdom Park

Live Entertainment

Professional dancers in the Disney Parks

Be swept away by the stunning entertainment from our professional dancers in the Disney Parks! Fall in love with the classic ballroom dance scene in Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Or, if you are visiting Disneyland park, make it a point to see Mickey and the Magical Map, a live musical show with upbeat dance numbers that takes you to fantastical worlds of imagination!

Disney Performing Arts celebrates dancers each and every day with year-round workshops and performance opportunities for dance groups of all levels. Under the guidance of a pro, students can fine tune their technique and hone their craft in a fun, hands-on workshop. Once they’ve set the stage for success, student dance ensembles can perform onstage for Guests at Walt Disney World Resort or the Disneyland Resort
