“There you see her, sitting there across the way. She don’t got a lot to say, but there’s something about her…”

That’s right — we’re talking about the new Little Mermaid CUPCAKE at Disney World!

We spotted this Ariel-inspired eat over at Good’s Food to Go at Disney’s Old Key West Resort! Just look at how adorable it is. We’re getting major mermaid vibes from all of its greens, purples, pinks, and blues! Plus this thing’s so big, just might need a dinglehopper to eat it with!

And check out all the snazzy white chocolate decorations it comes topped with! We LOVE the light purple mermaid tail, but we don’t remember this euphoric-looking starfish from any of the scenes of the classic 1989 animated film — maybe from the big Under the Sea number? They had a few other versions of The Little Mermaid Cupcake with orange shell decorations instead of starfish, but the choice was pretty OBVI.

Ok, let’s see how this little guppy tastes! The cake is a super moist yellow cake and it’s topped with a generous amount of purple and green blueberry icing — our girl Ariel’s signature colors.

And The Little Mermaid Cupcake is stuffed with a delicious lemon curd filling! It made us pucker up our lips like Sebastian when he’s teaching Ariel how to charm Prince Eric! We enjoyed the lemon curd a little more than the icing on top — which was nice and sweet.

And check out the fresh blueberries that were tucked away like a sunken treasure in the tasty lemon curd! YUM!!!

The Litte Mermaid Cupcake costs $5.99 and so far we’ve only spotted it at Old Key West’s Good’s Food to Go, but we’ll let you know if we see it somewhere else! And while you’re at Old Key West, be sure to check out their new Cranberry Orange Margarita and other fall cocktails at Olivia’s Cafe and The Gurling Suitcase!

Will you be trying the new Little Mermaid Cupcake before it paddles away? Let us know in the comments below!
