Disney4me
As fall turns to winter at Disneyland, we’ve seen Halloween step aside and make way for yuletide (along with all the Christmas decorations and sweet treats that come with it, of course!) River Belle Terrace Dining Room And we’ve also noticed a new seasonal offering (along with a few new menu items!) at one of our favorite places to dine at Disneyland — the River Belle Terrace! Naturally, we had to direct our team of oxen over to this Frontierland eatery to taste the new grub they’re cookin’ up! Here’s the new River Belle Terrace menu we were given at the restaurant! As you can see, there’s now a Burnt Ends Grilled Cheese Sandwich that we’re dying to try! Online, the sandwich is listed as a “seasonal offering”, although on the River Belle Terrace’s physical menu it simply appears as a “signature sandwich”, so we’re not sure if it’s sticking around for a while or not — either way, we’re not taking any chances! River Belle Terrace Holiday Menu We also ordered the rest of the NEW dishes off the menu including the Beef Short Ribs and the Apple Cobbler because…food. We also snatched up the Catch of the Day because why not?! Hey, we’re good eaters here at DFB and enjoy our entrees with a side of…another entree — or two more entrees! We even got a little treat for dessert which will save for the end! River Belle Terrace Holiday Menu Items The Burnt Ends Grilled Cheese costs $23, which might sound like a lot for a sandwich, but it was AMAZING. The Kansas City-style brisket burnt ends were nice and tender, lightly tossed in a sweet barbecue Coca Cola sauce! Burnt Ends Grilled Cheese But what perhaps surprised us the most was the bits of chopped up pickle and pepperoncini relish that really stood out amongst all that melty cheese goodness! They tasted like the exact same spicy pickles that they sell throughout Disneyland, so if you’re a fan of those bad boys, we think you’re gonna love the Burnt Ends Grilled Cheese! Burnt Ends Grilled Cheese It’s a rich, meaty sandwich too, so bring your hearty, pioneering appetite! It comes served with River Belle Terrace’s Signature Baked Beans and your choice of side — we went with Seasoned Tater Bites because you can’t go wrong with all that meat, and potatoes, AND CHEESE! Burnt Ends Grilled Cheese And while River Belle Terrace has offered Pork Spare Ribs in the past (and still does –don’t worry!) we also ordered up the new Beef Short Ribs for $29. The entree features fresh cut of beef cooked slowly and coated with a yummy herbaceous rub! The house-made sauce really ties the whole thing together and the mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables it comes with are super yummy too! Beef Short Ribs We also sampled the Catch of the Day for $26 (a favorite River Belle Terrace dish of ours!) It’s a generous portion of sustainable fish which is topped with a tangy remoulade sauce and fresh greens. It’s also served with seasonal vegetables which this time featured some roasted fingerling potatoes! Catch of the Day After all our feasting, we were sure to save some room for dessert! Check out this mouthwatering Apple Cobbler, served up hot and fresh right from the skillet! The cold, creamy ice cream was nice and melty over the warm cinnamony baked pieces of apple with bits of sweet, tasty streusel bits scattered about! Apple Cobbler The Apple Cobbler was absolutely delicious — just the perfect sweet and texturally satisfying dessert to cap off our wonderful savory meal at River Belle Terrace! Apple Cobbler So next time your heading through Disneyland’s Frontierland, circle your wagons at River Belle Terrace to try their new menu offerings for yourself! And be sure to check out the other wonderful seasonal offerings like this one we just spotted over in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure!
