Check Out the Additions To Newly Redesigned International Gateway in Epcot

It’s a season of change at Disney’s Epcot!

The exciting transformation includes new dining options and even new attractions, including the Summer 2020 opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Even the World Showcase side entrance to the park

Disney is making upgrades in order to better serve visitors. Guests entering Epcot have the option to enter through the newly redesigned International Gateway.

For those not familiar, this is accessed from a path that connects Epcot’s World Showcase to Disney’s BoardWalk area and its resorts as well as Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It is also accessed via the Skyliner with a station that just recently opened.

International Gateway

Previously, the entrance was very small to accommodate the lighter number of guests accessing Epcot through it. Due to the influx of guests entering via Skyliner, the need for a larger, more planned out entrance had to be met. The newly redesigned ticket booths and entrance fit the design of the area and welcome guests into the park.

We spoke with a Main Entrance Cast Member who informed us that International Gateway Guest Relations will also be getting an upgrade with the addition of a small lobby.

While nothing has been officially confirmed by Disney with the new lobby, we’ll keep you in the loop as we receive more information. We’re so happy that the International Gateway has been given some much-needed love. It looks great!
