Al’s Toy Barn in Shanghai Disneyland But now that the park has been open for over a month, more attractions and guest experiences have started back up. But those aren’t even the biggest changes. Shanghai Disneyland also recently debuted the Disney Standby Pass (a virtual queue-type system). This is a free service on Shanghai Disneyland’s app that allows guests to select a specific time frame to ride an attraction in order to “help guests better plan their queuing schedule for a more relaxed park experience.” TRON When Shanghai Disneyland launched Disney Standby Pass, only one attraction listed during the Trial Operation Period: The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh in Fantasyland. Today, we noticed several new attractions have been added. Screenshot From Shanghai Disneyland’s Website Shanghai Disneyland’s website still states, “the corresponding attractions are only open to guests who hold either a Disney Standby Pass or Disney Premier Access for the corresponding time period.” Note: Disney Standby Pass is still in its Trial Operating Period and will be open for further refinement. Roaring Rapids The new Disney Standby Pass is now being offered in addition to Disney Premier Access (which is available for purchase) and Disney Fastpass, and the site notes that: “Guests may purchase Disney Premier Access for any attraction while also holding a Disney Standby Pass or Disney Fastpass.” Disney Standby Passes will continue to be released in the app on an hourly basis, based on that day’s official park operating hours. Each Disney Standby Pass corresponds to a 60-minute interval of time and the quota distributed for each day will be limited.
