A $2.7 billion terminal under construction at Orlando International Airport is markedly different in design than the original terminal that opened in 1918. It will be enormous, simple in layout and stuffed with technology and towering digital displays. “All the lessons learned there [at the original terminal] over all these years we’ve deployed here,” said Davin Ruohomaki, the airport’s senior director of planning.
