Disney4me
Walt Disney World has officially been reopened for a little over two months now. Main Street, USA Despite reduced park capacity, it hasn’t necessarily been any easier to get reservations at some of Disney World’s most popular dining spots, like Be Our Guest Restaurant, California Grill, or Topolino’s Terrace. And that’s because Florida restaurants’ indoor seating is allowed at 50% capacity, while outdoor seating is allowed at full capacity. That means that Disney is held to those 50% capacity standards. Empty tables at Cinderella’s Royal Table But those limited indoor capacities in the Sunshine State may be lifted soon, according to a new report from The Orlando Sentinel. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced that he plans to lift capacity limits on restaurants soon and prevent any local government from keeping restaurants closed down. Wine Bar George “They’re not going to be able to be closed by locals anymore, and they’ll be able to operate at the capacity that they’re comfortable with,” Gov. DeSantis stated. As of now, however, no official order has made. California Grill BUT, just because the state may lift indoor dining restrictions, that doesn’t mean Disney will follow suit. “The capacity that they’re comfortable with” may still be limited. But if Disney does increase restaurant capacity while still limiting park capacity, that may make some hot ticket restaurants like Be Our Guest or Cinderella’s Royal Table easier to get in to.
