Disney4me
Universal announces discount-ticket deals for its theme parks (one with three free days) and annual-pass discounts Universal Orlando has announced discount-ticket deals for its theme parks — one that throws in three free days — and extended the purchase deadline on an existing offer. The new “Get 3 Days Free When You Buy 2 Days” allows access to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure theme parks. The offer will be available through Jan. 6, 2021, and it must be used entirely by Aug. 31, 2021. A version where buyers only go to one park per day costs $243.99; one that allows movement between both parks during the day is $303.99. Fine print on this deal: “Ticket is valid for any five (5) calendar days during a seven (7) consecutive calendar day period which includes the first day any portion of the ticket is used,” according to Universal’s website. Universal also is now offering discounts to Florida residents on select annual and seasonal passes. The savings range from $52 to $102, depending on the level of pass. A seasonal pass is selling for $215.99; power pass is $255.99; preferred pass is $287.99 and premier pass is $407.99 with this offer. (Fine print: Block-out dates apply to some passes.) This deal is available for purchase through Dec. 17, 2020. The company has extended the purchase deadline for the “Buy a Day, Visit Every Day Through Dec. 24 Free” offer to Nov. 3, 2020. Florida residents can buy a two-park, one-day ticket for as low as $164 and have access to the two theme parks through Christmas Eve. This offer must be purchased online; it’s not available at the front gate of the attractions. (The deal originally expired Sept. 30).
