Disney4me
We love seeing our favorite characters around Disney World! Mickey Mouse Due to the pandemic, traditional character meet-and-greets transformed into socially distanced and cavalcade-style versions. Now that it’s Christmastime, we’re seeing several of those offerings getting seasonal makeovers! We have Christmas cavalcades, flotillas, motorcades, and promenades in the four parks, and we’ve seen characters wearing their holiday best to wave at guests from a distance. Now another character is donning their Christmas gear — Joy from Inside Out! Joy has a socially distanced meet-and-greet over next to the Imagination Pavilion in EPCOT. Typically, she and Winnie the Pooh swap appearances here throughout the day. We noticed Pooh in his festive best the other day, so today we made it a point to see if Joy was also getting into the holiday spirit! Winnie the Pooh in EPCOT As we made our way over to the usual spot, Joy was getting ready to leave. We managed to catch a short glimpse of her waving goodbye to the guests — and she was wearing some jolly accessories! Joy in EPCOT Joy had what looked to be a scarf made of Christmas garland hanging from her neck, along with a red ribbon on a stick. Joy in EPCOT Joy looked like she had been having a lot of fun, so we’re disappointed that we missed most of her appearance. We’ll be on the lookout for her return so that we can get the full experience! Joy in EPCOT If you’ve got an Inside Out fan in your family, this socially distanced meet-and-greet is super cute! We could spend all day over here hanging out with Pooh or Joy and watching their shenanigans! Check Out Winnie the Pooh’s Holiday Makeover Here!
