A few Walt Disney World restaurants are in the process of reopening at Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme parks as 2020 comes to a close. Woody’s Lunch Box, a counter-service stop within Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios, already is serving customers again. Back among its menu items are grilled three-cheese sandwiches, chocolate-hazelnut Lunch Box tarts and totchos (potato barrels with chili and cheese). Mobile ordering is available for this eatery. Woody's Lunch Box, a counter-service restaurant in Toy Story Land, reopened last week at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. (Dewayne Bevil / Orlando Sentinel) At Magic Kingdom, Crystal Palace will reopen on Dec. 13 as a “family-style dining experience” as opposed to its previous role as a character buffet, Disney says. It will offer lunch and dinner. The prix-fixe menu will offer fried chicken, prime rib of beef or crispy-fried cauliflower. Reservations can be made at www.Disneyworld.com as of Dec. 1. To eat at Crystal Palace, visitors must have a date-specific theme-park reservation, not just a restaurant reservation. The “Winnie the Pooh” characters that have been stationed on the Crystal Palace porch for socially distant greetings will be taking a break from that location, Disney says. On Dec. 17, Tomorrowland Terrace, a counter-service restaurant with a view of Cinderella Castle, will reopen. It will serve select menu items from the park’s still-closed Columbia Harbour House, including lobster rolls, fried shrimp and chicken breast nuggets. These dining options have been closed since the theme parks shut down in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
