Disney4me
The Disney parks are a place of constant change! Things change frequently in the Disney parks! Things are consistently evolving and updating to keep up with the times, whether it’s the technology used or the rules in place. This week, policies were changed for Cast Members regarding the Disney dress code, and today we spotted those changes in effect in the parks! While we were getting on the Skyliner in Disney World today, we were assisted by Camilo from Puerto Rico. And while we were speaking to Camilo, we noticed something… Say hey to Camilo! …Camilo is sporting visible tattoos! Previously, Cast Members were not allowed to have their tattoos showing, and were required to cover them up while at work. With the changes to the dress code, they’re now free to show tattoos that are deemed “appropriate.” Camilo doesn’t have to cover up the ink anymore! In addition to allowing tattoos, the new rules state that Cast Members have “greater flexibility with respect to forms of personal expression surrounding gender-inclusive hairstyles, jewelry, nail styles, and costume choices.” We’ll be looking out for other CMs following these new rules! We’ll be looking out for Cast Members sporting these changes in the parks, and we’ll make sure to keep you updated with any more details! Stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney news!
