Cinderella Castle With Disney World’s 50th anniversary coming up this October (!!), the park has been getting a little spiffying up. And over on Main Street, U.S.A., Main Street Confectionery is closed for a lengthy refurbishment! We’ve been following Magic Kingdom’s refurbishment calendar closely for any news, and now, we’ve got an update for ya. Last month, we reported that Main Street Confectionery had been taken OFF the refurbishment calendar starting on July 4th! However, we did state that there was a chance the closure would last longer, if that calendar just hadn’t been updated yet. Main Street, U.S.A. As it turns out, this is the case. Main Street Confectionery is back on the refurb calendar, and it’s listed through July 17th. That’s as far as Disney’s currently published this schedule, so we could see it extend even longer! ©Disney Disney World has not indicated when we can expect Main Street Confectionery to reopen, but we’ll keep an eye out! In the meantime, if you’re itching for a sugar rush, you can stop by Main Street Cinema. They’re currently housing all of the Confectionery’s goodies!
