Disney4me
Avengers Campus opens THIS WEEK!!! Pym Test Kitchen We’ve already gotten a look at some Avengers Campus merchandise, checked out the rules for what happens if Avengers Campus reaches capacity, and shared all of the details on the menus for the restaurants and kiosks opening with the land. But, recently we also got a peek at the land in person! So today we’re bringing you a first look at some of the unique food items you’ll be able to get in one of the land’s new spots — Pym Test Kitchen!! Pym Test Kitchen will be serving up some tasty treats for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can click here to get a look at their breakfast menu and here to see what they’ll be serving up for lunch and dinner. Pym Test Kitchen The restaurant itself is full of cool references to some of your favorite Marvel characters and more. But, in this post, we’ll be focusing on the FOOD!! During our sneak peek at the land, we got to check out a whole bunch of the items that will be available for lunch and dinner here. Let’s dive into them now! First up, here’s the Not so Little Chicken Sandwich! This sandwich is made with a fried chicken breast, teriyaki and red chili sauces, and pickled cabbage slaw, which is all then served on brioche. It also comes with a side of crispy potato bites. Not so Little Chicken Sandwich That’s one big piece of chicken compared to the bun!! You can grab this sandwich for $15.49. This sandwich was very tasty and did have some kick to it, which was really good! Let’s Dig In!!! Next up, there’s the Atomic Fusion Pretzel which definitely has some bright colors going on! The pretzel is made buffalo-style, loaded with chicken, hot sauce, ranch dressing, blue cheese crumbles, celery and dill-pickled carrots! You can grab this for $10.49. This pretzel also had some kick to it with that hot sauce, which was really nice. If you just want the pretzel without all of the toppings, though, you can get it plain but it’ll be the same cost. Atomic Fusion Pretzel Looking for something plant-based? Pym Test Kitchen has you covered with the Impossible Spoonful. This dish is made with rigatoni and ditalini pastas, plant-based meatballs, tomato sauce, dairy-free parmesan and micro basil. Looks like some of those meatballs were hit with the particles that make them grow very large while others have been shrunken down a bit! You can get this dish for $13.99. Overall, this pasta was great! Very yummy and we couldn’t even really tell that it was plant-based and didn’t have “real” cheese and meat. Time to Eat!! Next up, here’s a look at the Pym-ini Sandwich! This dish is made with Salami, Rosemary Ham, Provolone and Sun-dried Tomato Spread on Toasted Focaccia served with Marinara Dipping Sauce and Arugula Salad. You can grab it for $14.49. Essentially this little beauty tasted like a pizza sandwich (which, if you’ve never made one at home, come back to us when you have cause it’s a delicious snack you’ll LOVE to make time and time again). Pym-ini Sandwich And don’t forget to look everywhere (including right near your food) for more hidden details! So Many Fun Details! If you’re planning on sharing the meal with some hungry friends, then you might want to grab the Family-sized Pym-ini which is essentially the same sandwich as the Pym-ini above but it’s served with potato bites and is big enough to serve a total of 6-8 guests. This Family-sized creation will cost you $99.99 though!!! And we couldn’t make a stop here without grabbing some Pingo Doce! Fans will recognize this drink from The Incredible Hulk! You can get this in a regular-sized option, but if you’re feeling very thirsty, you can get it (or any Coca-Cola beverage) in an oversized Pingo Doce soda can for $22.99. Pick Your Drink! Overall, the drink itself was very sweet! If you like that type of thing, then it might be perfect for you. If not, it might be a good drink to just get one of and share with your friends and family members, just to be able to say you tried it! Some of Our Items! During our recent trip to Avengers Campus, we also got a look at some of the other items that will be available at Pym Test Kitchen, like the Caesar Salad and Colossal Crouton. This salad features hearts of romaine, kalamata olives, pickled onions, caesar dressing, a giant garlic crouton, and parmesan crisps. You can grab it for $12.49. Caesar Salad Anyone? Love PB&J sandwiches and bananas?! Then you might love the PB3 Superb Sandwich which is a warm PB&J sandwich with banana and candied bacon on Pym particle bread, served with a micro banana smoothie and crispy potato bites. You can get this dish for $12.99. PB3 Superb Sandwich If the Atomic Fusion Pretzel wasn’t quite adventurous enough for you, you might want to get the Quantum Pretzel. This pretzel is 453.8 grams(!!!!) and is a Bavarian-style pretzel, which is served with a sharp cheddar cheese-beer sauce. You can get it for $12.99. Quantum Pretzel! If you’re in the mood for dessert, the Celestial-sized Candy Bar: Choco-Smash CANDY Bar may be just what you need! This treat is made of a Choco Smash Candy Bar with dark chocolate, peanuts, caramel, nougat, and chocolate brownie. It’s priced at $7.99. Celestial-sized Candy Bar: Choco-Smash CANDY Bar But don’t worry, the kiddos aren’t left behind. There are some kids menu items available here as well including a Teeny Pym-ini, which is a toasted ham and provolone sandwich with marinara dipping sauce, served with a Cuties® mandarin, Dannon® Yogurt, and choice of small lowfat milk or small DASANI® water. It’s priced at $9.99. Teeny Pym-ini Got a kid who loves to do science experiments? Check out the PB&J Flavor Lab. This dish comes with everything you need to assemble your very own food experiment. It features smooth peanut butter, strawberry jelly, and Pym particle bread. We especially LOVE the fact that it has that petri dish with some of the ingredients inside! This is also served with a mandarin, yogurt, and a choice of small low-fat milk or small water. You can get this for $7.99. PB&J Flavor Lab There’s also a Mini Pasta and Impossible Meatballs option available. This is made with rigatoni and ditalini pastas, plant-based meatballs, tomato sauce, and dairy-free parmesan. It comes with a mandarin, coconut milk yogurt, and a choice of small low-fat milk or water. This dish is priced at $8.99. Mini Pasta and Impossible Meat-balls And finally, for the kiddos, there’s also the Subatomic Chicken Sandwich! This dish is made of a crispy breaded chicken breast on a soft roll.
