(Joe Burbank/Orlando Sentinel) Walt Disney World is introducing the Florida Resident Summer Fun Ticket for theme park visits through Sept. 17. The four-day variety of the package sells for $215. It allows for one park per day, although a park-hopper option is available for $35 per ticket. The Summer Fun Ticket can be used on consecutive and nonconsecutive days; however, park reservations -- made via disneyworld.com -- are still required in addition to admission tickets. Reservations are limited. Park-hopping visitors must first go to the theme park where they’ve made date-specific, park-specific reservations; they can visit another Disney World theme park after 2 p.m., but that is subject to capacity restrictions. There’s a three-day version of the deal sold for $185 and a two-day offer for $150. A water-park option can be added for $30 per ticket. Blizzard Beach currently is the only open Disney World water park.Adults must show proof of Florida residency at the attraction’s entrance. For tickets or more information, go to www.disneyworld.com or call 407-939-2745.
