Disney4me
We’re checking out ALL the eats at the 2021 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival! 2021 Greece Booth We’ve been tasting our way around allll of the festival booths to see which items will make our Best of the Fest list this year. Our next stop takes us to Greece, so put on your stretchy pants and join us as we check out EVERYTHING this booth has to offer! Menu Here’s a look at the menu for the Greece booth. 2021 Greece Menu This year, the Greece booth is serving up three food options (2 returning items and 1 new dish) and a selection of three NEW wines. There’s also a wine flight available for guests that want to give all three wines a try! Food First up, we tried the Spanakopita, a savory pastry with a spinach and cheese filling. We’ve seen this pop up on the menu at this booth before, so we had to see how this year’s version stacks up! Spanakopita This spanakopita was super light and flaky, just as it should be! Spanakopita The cheese was delicious and creamy and we really couldn’t taste the spinach at all (which actually isn’t necessarily a bad thing). You can get this item for $4.50. This gluten and wheat-friendly dish is part of Emile’s Fromage Montage, so take note if you plan to do the cheese crawl this year! Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey This was an absolute FAVORITE of ours in the past, so we were super excited to dig in! (P.S., here’s a recipe for this little beauty if you want to try your hand at making it at home!) It’s creamy, nutty, and wonderfully sweet from the honey. It had a type of cured meat on top which added another great layer of flavor. And the pistachios provided a nice crunch. Overall, the flavors in the dish were really well balanced and blended together nicely! You can get this item for $4.50. And finally, we got the NEW Lamb Moussaka. This was actually our favorite of all of the items at this booth! Lamb Moussaka It tasted just like a lasagna. Really, the lamb just added a nice, meaty touch of flavor and texture to the dish. Lamb Moussaka If you want to try the Lamb Moussaka you can grab it for $7.75. Drinks The Greece booth is also serving up a selection of new wine options this year. First, there’s the Mylonas Assyrtiko White Wine. This wine was light and crisp with some lovely little fruity hints. This wine is priced at $6. White Whine Next up, we have the Skouras Zoe Rosé. This was actually our favorite drink out of the 3 available. It was light and crisp and a great, fruity flavor. This wine is priced at $5. Rose Finally, there’s the Kir-Yianni Naoussa Xinomavro Dry Red. This wine was SUPER sweet, so if you like sweeter drinks then this might be a good choice for you. It was also crisp and dry which was really nice. This wine is priced at $6. Red You can also snag a Wine Flight if you’d like to give all three options a try! Wine Flight The wine flight is priced at $6.50. Overall And that’s a full look at ALL of the items you can get at the Greece booth this year. Overall, if you’re looking for some wines with a nice, light and crisp flavor, or 3 cheesy dishes this could be a good choice!
