Luckily, the Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is now open, and we’ve got a first look at the newly reopened restaurant! Yacht Club Resort We’ve been on top of all the latest happenings around Walt Disney World, like some newly reopened restaurants, nighttime shows, and more! Now, a popular steakhouse is back, and we are giving you a first look! The Yachtsman Steakhouse, located in Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, is known for its tender steaks, creamy Lobster Bisque, and Chilled Admiral’s Tower for Two (a seafood feast of Maine lobster, snow crab, tuna tartare, jumbo shrimp, mussels, scallop ceviche, and charred octopus salad). Welcome back! Previously, we found the steaks here to be some of the best on property, but dining at Disney has taught us that inconsistency can happen when it comes to our meals. Let’s take a look at the newly reopened restaurant! Atmosphere The Yachtsman Steakhouse is open again! We made our way to check-in. Yachtsman Steakhouse You can check in right outside the staircase to Yachtsman, at this desk that is reminiscent of a boat! Yachtsman Steakhouse The inside of the restaurant is lightly lit and very nautical-themed, which makes sense. Yachtsman Steakhouse The tables are covered in white tablecloths with black cloth napkins and wood chairs with leather seats. Yachtsman Steakhouse Menu Once we were sat at our table, we received a paper menu. Yachtsman Steakhouse The paper menu lists the First Course, Signature Offerings, Butcher’s Cuts, Land and Sea Entrees, and Steakhouse Sides. Among the first course dishes is Lobster Bisque, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, French Onion Soup, and Beef Carpaccio. Yachtsman Steakhouse We tried the Lobster Bisque with a lobster biscuit, crème fraîche, and espelette oil… Lobster Bisque …and the Beef Carpaccio, which is made with truffle aioli, parmesan, fried capers, grilled artichokes, and smoked sea salt! Beef carpaccio We also ordered the Whiskey Breeze, which is made with Jim Beam Black extra-aged bourbon, Cointreau, and fresh lime juice with flavors of guava and mango. Whiskey Breeze We got the Butcher’s Cut 8-oz Filet Mignon, served with Cognac-Truffle Butter and Potato-Leek Gratin. Filet Mignon, Potato-Leek Gratin, and Truffle Macaroni and Cheese Feast your eyes upon this beautiful filet! Filet Mignon And of course we HAD to get the Truffle Macaroni and Cheese.
