Although there are some restaurants where you can ask for a paper copy of the menu, QR codes became popular at the Disney Parks upon reopening. Well, those QR code menus could be here to stay!

According to CNBC, QR code menus are not just here to stay at Disney World, but everywhere! The convenience and speed QR codes provide often makes them more beneficial for restaurants than old paper menus.

Link management service Bitly said it’s seen a 750% increase in QR code downloads over the last 18 months. Bitly’s president Raleigh Harbour said that “restaurants have realized how valuable the technology is.” Harbour also said, “They’re able to adjust their menu offerings on the fly to account for elements like inflation, fluctuations in food and commodities prices, and other variables.”
