(Dewayne Bevil / Orlando Sentinel) SeaWorld Orlando is touting an early preview of its upcoming Ice Breaker roller coaster as an annual passholder benefit, but there are a couple of strings attached. To be invited to the exclusive preview, passholders must visit SeaWorld Orlando at least three different days between now and Dec. 31. They also must be opted in for emails that will contain the invite to the evening, which will be the first pass preview night scheduled. An exact date was not announced. Participants must continue to be passholders through Feb. 28. Scenes from the construction site of Ice Breaker, a roller coaster scheduled to open at SeaWorld Orlando theme park in February 2022. (Dewayne Bevil / Orlando Sentinel) Ice Breaker is scheduled to debut in February after months of delays. The coaster, which features multiple launches and a dead-end spike, faces the theme park’s central lake and is adjacent to Bayside Stadium, Wild Arctic and Shamu Stadium. A similar promotion is planned for Busch Gardens Tampa Bay passholders for that theme park’s debut of Iron Gwazi in March. SeaWorld also revealed its list of festivals for 2022. New in the lineup is a St. Patrick’s Day celebration built into the Seven Seas Food Festival. It makes reference to a second year of Howl-O-Scream in September and October 2022. SeaWorld Orlando’s first Howl-O-Scream debuts Friday. The park’s gentler Halloween event called Spooktacular is scheduled for this year and next year too. Meanwhile, back in 2021, SeaWorld has announced it’s extending its Craft Beer Festival, held on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, through the end of October. It was scheduled to end this Sunday.
