Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has been undergoing quite a few changes lately.

Front Entrance

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort reopened in July and we were able to tour the newly remodeled rooms that were inspired by Moana and feature tons of Moana designs and details. The Monorail Station for the Polynesian reopened this week, and now the front entrance is officially open to guests! Come with us as we take a look at the front entrance makeover.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort reopened before the Monorail station and front entrance remodels were finished, so they remained temporarily blocked off to guests, who had to use a side entrance to the lobby for the past few months. Now that the Monorail Station has reopened and the front entrance is (mostly) finished, guests can enter there again!

The new colorful panels have been installed, and they really brighten up the resort. You can see that they extend to the Monorail Station too.

New panels!

There’s still a bit of construction and landscaping being done in front of the Polynesian, but it’s mostly completed.

A little construction

We saw guests checking in near the front entrance, and buses and cars driving through.

As you make your way toward the entrance of Poly, you cross over a walkway and a wooden bridge and there’s so much beautiful landscaping and greenery that it almost makes you feel truly transported to a tropical island.

Walkway

If you look closely, you can see that the walkway was updated with a new stone pattern.

The landscaping was also spruced up, and it looked beautiful.

Greenery

If we could spend all day in this area, we probably would.

Just look how gorgeous it is!

So pretty!

Eventually, we tore ourselves away from the landscaping to enter the front doors.
