Disney4me Posted October 1, 2021 Report Share Posted October 1, 2021 It’s the big day! Today, we’re celebrating Disney World’s 50th Anniversary and Disney has a TON of stuff planned for the occasion. The 50th is here! We’re checking out new food, merchandise, shows, and MORE! Something else happening today is the brand new 50th anniversary cavalcade in Magic Kingdom, so let’s go see Mickey and the gang celebrate! Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade begins in Frontierland, then continues through Liberty Square, goes around the Hub in front of Cinderella Castle, and down Main Street, U.S.A. First up, we saw the performers coming down the street in Frontierland! New outfits! We are LOVING their new outfits and props — they’re so vibrant and fun! Everything is colorful! The cavalcade features Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, and Chip ‘n’ Dale in their new EARidescent outfits. The first character we saw was Pluto, looking great for the special day! The goodest boy Then, out in front of Cinderella Castle, we got better views of Minnie Mouse… This dress is everything! …Donald Duck… Donald looking dapper! …Daisy Duck… So stylish! …and Goofy! Oh gawrsh — look at the Goof! We also saw Chip ‘n’ Dale looking as cute as ever! Matching vests for the chipmunks! And finally, we saw the Big Cheese himself — Mickey Mouse! We love you, Mickey! The characters were all having such a great time celebrating the 50th — and looking good doing it in their new outfits! Goofy is having a party And a little more appreciation for the outfits of the performers… Living for these colors! …because they’re just SO GOOD! Can’t wait to watch this for the next 18 months!
