Disney4me
Disney World has announced some celebrity narrators for Epcot’s Candlelight Processional 2021 Actress Chita Rivera will be among the narrators for the 2021 edition of Candlelight Processional at Epcot. (Orlando Sentinel file) Walt Disney World has released the first wave of celebrity narrators that will participate in Epcot’s Candlelight Processional for the 2021 holiday season. The event, part of the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, was not held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It returns this year with some changes, including the mass choir being pared down to cast members only. But narrators will be used, as usual, to tell the traditional Christmas story at the theme park’s America Gardens Theater nightly between Nov. 26 and Dec. 30. The partial list of narrators for this year, subject to change, includes: · Nov. 29-Dec 1: Chita Rivera · Dec. 2-4: Jodi Benson · Dec. 5-7: Alton Fitzgerald White · Dec. 11-13: Lisa Ling · Dec. 23-24: Steven Curtis Chapman · Dec. 26-28: Blair Underwood · Dec. 29-30: Pat Sajak These seven individuals have all served as Candlelight narrators in the past. Also returning are the Candlelight Processional Dining Packages, which include a meal at one of four Epcot restaurants and a reserved seat that same day for the processional. Disney will start taking dining-package reservations on Oct. 26. For more details, go to disneyworld.com/candlelight.
