Disney4me
Destination D23 is taking place all weekend at Disney World! Josh D’Amaro with a real lightsaber!! It’s an exciting event that usually gives us some big news or sneak peeks at upcoming Disney projects. We’ve already learned about an updated stage show returning to Disney World, when Avengers Campus will open at Disneyland Paris, and got the opening timeline for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT! And now, we have a sneak peek of the new Disney Vacation Club tower being added to the Disneyland Hotel! Disneyland is building a 12-story tower next to the Disneyland Hotel for DVC members. It will be a L-shaped tower with 350 time share villas. We already knew the addition will include a new pool, outdoor bar, interactive play area, community hall, and fitness center, but we now new more concept art to check out! The new tower! The outside of the tower will have some added magic from Tinker Bell, who will greet you — if you look closely, you can see her pixie dust on the right side of the building! Hi, Tink! The pool area will be inspired by Artist’s Palette and a story will be told through the children’s play area, but we’re still waiting on the details for that! ©Disney We also got some concept art of the rooms! The story of the theming is that you’re looking at it from the perspective and creative approach of a Disney artist. They even studied the sketching style of Walt Disney himself for some areas! Concept for one of the rooms This room is inspired by the animated classic Sleeping Beauty, which takes colors from the movie and subtly surrounds you in the space. It’s designed to evoke the mood and emotion of the film! This is just one room in the new tower, so we can’t wait to see what other designs will be in the space. It’s definitely pretty! There also is original art being made inspired by Sleeping Beauty. Original art and the inspiration We’ll keep you updated on anything else we find out about the new tower!
