We’ve seen some little changes throughout the parks and resorts this week, including some price increases at Starbucks and new smart lockers at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort! We’re going to Hollywood! We’re taking a quick trip around Hollywood Studios to see what’s new. The sun is shining and we’re all caffeinated up, so let’s see what we can find! Hollywood Studios Merchandise Updates Mickey’s of Hollywood In Mickey’s of Hollywood, we spotted a new shirt with Mickey Mouse and the gang. As you can see, everyone is having a fun time! Fun times! We love the classic look of these characters! Dark Room Over in the Dark Room shop, we found a new Olaf PopSocket… This is so cute! …and a new Mickey Tie-Dye PopSocket, too! Which Popsocket is your favorite? These come in handy when you’re holding your phone! Check Out Some Disney Phone Cases! Celebrity 5 & 10 Next stop: Celebrity 5 & 10. It looks like Stitch is the newest finger plush in the collection; isn’t he adorable? You can carry Stitch around on your finger! We’ve got plenty more new merch to see, so let’s keep going! Mickey’s of Hollywood We may be fully grown, but even we want to play with this ADORABLE Castle block playset! Can we play, too? It comes with 32 pieces, including Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy! Keystone Clothiers This new “What If” Hydra Stomper is perfect for little Marvel fans! Steve Rogers, is that you? There are so many new shows on Disney+; have you seen them all? Legends of Hollywood In Disney’s Legends of Hollywood store, we found a pretty new Princess Leia dress! Right next to it, you can also see the recently released Disneyland Railroad Dress Shop dress! Princess Leia dress We previously saw this dress debut over in the Magic Kingdom. (Though the one we saw there was VERY wrinkly… .) Here’s a closer look at the embroidered detail Disney decided to hop on the puffer jacket trend with their new Pizza Planet jacket! Pizza Planet Puffer Does anyone else miss meeting Baymax over in EPCOT? Anyway, we also found a new Big Hero 6 spirit jersey hoodie that is very bright and graphic! Spirit Jersey hoodie The front features Baymax’s adorable face. This is what the front looks like! For our friends who love A Goofy Movie, this new Powerline shirt might be for you! This is so fun! Let’s go see how things look over on Sunset Boulevard, shall we? Tower Hotel Gifts The Tower Hotel Gifts shop has this new Haunted Mansion jean jacket featuring miss Madame Leota. Hey, Leota, shouldn’t you be over in Liberty Square? Does anyone else feel like this belongs somewhere else? This jacket looks like it is part of the grunge Haunted Mansion collection we’ve been seeing for a while now. Frozen Fractal Gifts Frozen Fractal Gifts has a new set of Frozen headbands! New headband alert! You can buy the pair for $24.99. Once Upon a Time Once Upon a Time has the new princess Wishables, including Princess Rapunzel! Princess Wishables! We also found a new rose gold princess charm bracelet! We spy a dinglehopper on there, too! Do you collect charms for a charm bracelet? This chunky Cinderella Castle bracelet is new as well! New jewelry We’re still on the hunt for some lightsabers, so let’s see if they are available yet! Dok Ondar’s When we visited Dok Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, there were still no lightsabers available. Still no lightsabers! We’ll keep checking back, though, so keep your eyes out for news! Tatooine Traders There were a few new items at Tatooine Traders, including this green True Jedi graphic t-shirt. New t-shirt Unfortunately for us adults, this adorable Grogu spirit jersey is only for kids! This spirit jersey has such fun colors! Babu Yoda just looks so cute on this tie-dyed top, doesn’t he? Look at those fun illustrations! There were several different toy lightsabers available, but you still can’t build your own lightsaber at Tatooine Traders. Lots of toy lightsabers! A clever Cast Member came up with this brilliant idea! Did you know that the magnetic shoulder plushes fit into Disney’s nuiMOs clothing? Now THIS is clever! Whew! That covers all the new merchandise, now what’s up around the park? Hollywood Studios Construction Updates It’s been a pretty rough week for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. This attraction has been down, then up, then down again. Between all these closures and reopenings, this roller coaster has been a roller coaster of its own! The attraction was down, but the bubbles were floating up! Throughout the week, we kept our eyes on the status of the attraction. While we thought things were back to normal on January 5th, the attraction shut back down shortly thereafter. As of January 8th, the attraction is CLOSED! And we’re BACK!
