Well, the hottest item from this year’s EPCOT International Festival of the Arts just got even cooler! Figment Popcorn Bucket When the Festival of the Arts kicked off earlier this year, all eyes were on the Figment Popcorn Bucket. This small but mighty souvenir drew a line that topped six hours(!!) on the first day of the festival. The popcorn bucket saga got truly wild, with buckets reselling for HUNDREDS of dollars online. There was even a drawing of the must-have item that got a ton of hype! And if allllll of that Figment Popcorn Bucket fanfare wasn’t enough, we just discovered a hidden secret about the ultra-popular purple dragon that has us obsessing over him again! Figment Popcorn Bucket As fans of old-school EPCOT may know, Dreamfinder is a character that was featured in the original version of Journey Into Imagination, which ran from 1982 to 1998. One of the characteristics for which Dreamfinder was known was his impressive mustache and all-around glorious facial hair. We still miss you, Dreamfinder! ©D23 When the attraction was reimagined, Dreamfinder was removed, much to the disappointment of many Disney guests. Dreamfinder ©Disney But even though he’s gone from the attraction, it turns out there’s a hidden Dreamfinder reference that’s right under our noses! Or, Figment’s nose, to be more exact. ©Disney | Let’s be honest, the original was the best! Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley recently pointed out that the Figment Popcorn Bucket has a hidden nod to Dreamfinder…if you know how to look for it! Figment says ‘hello!’ To spot the Dreamfinder Easter Egg, take the popcorn bucket into a dark room and shine a flashlight underneath the base. And voilà, suddenly Figment will appear with Dreamfinder’s mustache! Figment Repping Dreamfinder’s Mustache! Just look at that fabulously styled facial hair! Dreamfinder, Is That You??
