Disney4me
Ready to live on the FANCY side of life in Disney World? Really want to go ALL OUT on your next Disney dining experience? Then we’ve got good news! Disney’s Grand Floridian There are all kinds of swanky spots to eat at in Disney World including California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Topolino’s Terrace in Disney’s Riviera Resort, and Jiko at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, but now Disney World’s fanciest restaurant has reopened and it might just be calling your name. That’s right folks, Victoria & Albert’s, located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa reopens TODAY, July 28th. Victoria & Albert’s If you’ve never visited Victoria & Albert’s before, here’s a quick rundown of what you need to know and what has changed. First, Victoria & Albert’s is basically PEAK luxury dining in Disney World. It has won the AAA Five Diamond Award and Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Award, among other accolades. Waiters at Victoria & Albert’s This spot delivers an opulent dining experience and has a dress code to match. According to the Disney website, “Guests are expected to dress accordingly in semi-formal/formal attire that respects the restaurant’s elegant and opulent aesthetic.” So come prepared to dress up here! Also, to go along with that dress code, there is an age limit. Only guests ages 10 and up can eat here, so keep that in mind and make plans for someone else to care for those little ones. ©Disney Victoria & Albert’s serves dinner in a variety of different ways. You can pick from 3 experiences: The Chef’s Table (an up-close look at the kitchen in a specialty dining experience for a small number of guests), Queen Victoria’s Room (which serves a tasting menu and is limited to just 4 couples per night), and The Dining Room. You might be wondering just what is on the menu here. Well, the answer is “it depends!” The menu here features high-quality ingredients from food around the world and the menu is ever-changing. Recently, Disney shared that some menu items guests may experience during upcoming meals include a Glacier 51 Toothfish with charred mushroom and sambal, Heirloom Tomatoes with gazpacho, and 100 Year Balsamico. There is also a Carrot Tikka Masala with cilantro and puri bread. And you can’t forget about dessert. Those with a sweet tooth may encounter the Spectrum of Chocolate, featuring four specialty sourced chocolates and a tableside presentation of sabayon with notes of Madagascar vanilla bean, Champagne, and Grand Marnier. ©Disney When it comes to drinks, Victoria & Albert’s has over 500(!) different wine selections, so you won’t have a lack of options. There are sommeliers on staff to help you get the perfect pairing. But there are also some new drink options. Disney notes that there is now a zero-proof cocktail pairing that allows everyone to enjoy the fun of pairing courses with drinks. One of the offerings you’ll find on this menu is the Guajillo Spice. This drink is smoked tableside and features flavors of roasted guajillo chilis, charred jalapeños, black peppercorn, turbinado sugar, and fresh lime.
