Festival of Holidays We’re coming to you live from the Disney Festival of Holidays in Disney California Adventure! So far we’ve shown you some of the best eats, the new merchandise, and all of the holiday happenings in the park. Sure, the food is the highlight of a Disney festival, but there is a lot of entertainment to see at the festival! Let’s check it out! Disney ¡Viva Navidad! is one of the big shows at Festival of Holidays! Viva Navidad! For some more festive fun, you can catch the Holiday Toy Drummers performing in California Adventure. How fun are they?! Holiday Toy Drummers Want to meet the big guy himself? No, we’re not talking about Mickey — we’re talking about SANTA! The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail becomes “Santa’s Holiday Visit” for the holiday season. Meet Santa! This trail has a “Camp Notices” board with details about everything you can do on the trail (like meet Santa!). Redwood Creek Challenge Trail — Santa’s Holiday Visit You’ll find more signs along the trail detailing everything you can do here. This is Santa’s trail now You can even have some fun with some Elf Games. Meet Santa at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail If you get a little peckish on the trail, be sure to look for Treats for Santa. Grab some delicious hot cocoa here! Treats for Santa Cart There’s lots of other entertainment available as well, including the Blue 13 Dance Company which will be doing some Bollywood dancing to celebrate Diwali. ©Disney There are lots of live musical acts to check out during your time at the festival. First up is the Mariachi Divas who put their own spin on classic holiday songs! ©Disney Mostly Kosher is a band that honors Hanukkah with a blend of music including klezmer, jazz, Latin, and rock. This group is performing over on the Sonoma Terrace. ©Disney The Phat Cat Swinger is for anyone who loves big and brassy holiday music! ©Disney You can also catch a group of a cappella singers celebrating Kwanzaa, called The Mistletoes! You’ll find this group on the stage in the Pacific Wharf area of the park. ©Disney And last but not least, Tina and The Sounds of Celebration perform at the festival! With this group, you’ll get to hear Salsa, Merengue, Caribbean, and Latin Rock music! ©Disney Also, there are some characters you can meet! Although you can usually meet Mirabel over in Disneyland, during the festival we spotted her walking around Disney California Adventure. Times for each of these entertainment options can change from day to day, so be sure to check the Disneyland app for the most up-to-date information on the day you are visiting.
