This year, the celebration runs from January 20th through February 13th and it’s celebrating the Year of the Rabbit in the Chinese zodiac calendar and the Year of the Cat in the Vietnamese zodiac calendar. We’re ready to dive into all the celebrations, including merchandise, food, and entertainment…so let’s go! Atmosphere Welcome to the Lunar New Year Celebration! California Adventure gets some stunning decorations for this festival, and we couldn’t resist snapping some photos on our way inside. We’re ready to celebrate! As you enter, they’ve got signs up explaining how families celebrate Lunar New Year in Vietnamese… Vietnamese celebrations …Chinese… Chinese celebrations …and Korean cultures. How fascinating! Korean celebrations Once we headed inside, we found that we’re not the only ones ready to celebrate! There were quite a few people around the entrance ready to get started with this exciting day.
