It’s time to pack for a Disney World trip! Got your MagicBand? Your Minnie ears? Your fashionable Disney-bounding outfits? There’s one thing you’re likely FORGETTING, and that mistake could come back to haunt you during your vacation. Where are you traveling this year? It can be tough to remember everything you’ll need at the Disney World parks, but we’re here to help you out. We’ve got a comprehensive packing list for you, but right now we’re reminding you of one ESSENTIAL that is super easy to forget or assume you won’t need. This morning, our reporters arrived at the Disney World parks and simultaneously realized that something was very different about Disney World today: it was COLD. Hollywood Studios OK, so it was actually about 60 degrees Fahrenheit this morning, which sounds downright tropical to those of us living where snow is a constant right now. But if you’re used to warm Florida weather, the recent drop in temperatures might come as a bit of a shock! ©Apple We noticed several guests purchasing sweaters and hoodies in the park gift shops, and one family we walked past was heading to the Emporium specifically to buy warmer clothes for their little ones. Inside the stores, Cast Members were putting out racks of warm clothes so that guests could find them more easily. Putting out warm clothes If you get to the Disney World parks and realize too late that you’re stuck in chilly weather without a jacket, you can always pop into a store to purchase one. But those Disney sweatshirts usually run at about $50 (if not more), so it’d be much cheaper to plan ahead and bring your own! These don’t come cheap! We found a light fleece jacket on Amazon that comes in both women’s and men’s fits, and it’s on sale now! The women’s fit is $16.40 (down from $29.99), and the men’s fit is $15.30 (down from $27.90). ©Amazon You can pop the jacket into your parks bag and pull it out whenever you need it. But the lows for the next couple of days are in the 40s, which is definitely chilly for Florida. ©Apple In fact, we stopped by Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort earlier and saw that there was no one swimming in the pool there.
