Disney4me Posted March 2, 2023 Report Share Posted March 2, 2023 ‘it’s a small world’ is classic Disney, so you may be surprised to know that the ride in Magic Kingdom has just gotten an update! “it’s a small world” We saw dolls in wheelchairs added to ‘it’s a small world’ in Disneyland in November 2022. At the time, Disney said it would also be adding similar dolls in Disney World, and one was added this week! Here he is! A new doll has been added in ‘it’s a small world’ When we rode last week, there was a violin player and an accordion player on this pedestal, but now the third musician — playing the flute — has been added! Here’s a look at the new doll added to “it’s a small world” in Magic Kingdom! The doll was added as a way to celebrate diversity around the world. pic.twitter.com/9cn6HtwZJL — Disney Food Blog (@DisneyFoodBlog) March 2, 2023 Disney Imagineer Kim Irvine told CNN Disney wanted the new addition at Disneyland to be “meaningful.” A doll in a wheelchair has been added to a classic ride in Disney World. “And keeping timely with what’s happening in the world, and especially, you know, making things new,” Irvine said.
