KiteTails The limited-time show ran in the Discovery River Amphitheater at Animal Kingdom for the 50th Anniversary, but it was cut short and canceled in September 2022. KiteTails wasn’t without its technical difficulties (sometimes the kites took a nosedive into places they weren’t supposed to), but it was also a really fun addition to Animal Kingdom that could easily fit into your day’s plans. We’ve been mourning its loss since last fall, but now Disney seems to be “mocking” our pain! On a regular visit to Animal Kingdom recently, we noticed that the Disney Kitetails popcorn buckets are STILL in stock at select carts near Asia and Dinoland, U.S.A.
