Disney4me
CELEBRATION, Fla. — Aboard the Disney Fantasy, guests age 18 and older can enjoy secluded places and pampering, plus nighttime entertainment venues just for adults. Add fine dining, a deluxe spa, tranquil private pools, secluded sundecks and a comfy café, and the result is a vacation full of ways adults can indulge, unwind, relax and rejuvenate themselves in exclusive areas. Exquisite Specialty Dining Two distinctive, adults-only dining experiences whisk guests away to an epicurean delight aboard the Disney Fantasy. Available as alternatives to the normal rotational dining experiences, these refined culinary adventures on Deck 12 are reserved for guests ages 18 and older: Modern Italian Cuisine at Palo Named after the colorful poles that line the canals of Venice, Palo offers a superlative dining experience in a sophisticated atmosphere reserved exclusively for adults. At this elegant restaurant, guests are invited to indulge in a menu of delectable modern Italian cuisine, classic reserve wines and superior service. Palo provides an unforgettable dinner experience at sea. With a semi-circular design, floor-to- ceiling windows and raised banquettes along one side, every seat offers beautiful vistas. Stylish furnishings, Frette linens, custom art, warm wood tones and a color palate of rich red, green and gold jewel tones create a refined, Italian-inspired décor. The restaurant’s wine list includes about 90 labels from all regions of Italy, including a sparkling Prosecco, a lush red Barolo made just for Palo, and some of the best Super Tuscans. The signature Balsamic Grande cocktail features vodka, a splash of five-year-old balsamic vinegar and fresh muddled strawberries. After dinner, a traditional grappa is offered. In addition to romantic dinners, Palo offers an adult-only Champagne brunch on sea days and select port days. The brunch features Palo’s signature pizzas, made-to-order entrées, seafood, a selection of international cheeses, fresh breads and pastries, desserts, champagne and mimosas. Between Remy and Palo is Meridian lounge, where guests can enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif or an after-dinner cocktail. With décor inspired by the early days of sea travel, this adult-exclusive lounge has inside seating and an outside teak deck, ideal for watching a sunset or relaxing with a cigar from a fine assortment available at the bar. Reservations are required for all Palo dining experiences. There is an additional charge for dinner and brunch, plus the cost of alcoholic beverages. French-Inspired Remy With gourmet cuisine by two award-winning chefs and a unique approach to wine service, Remy melds classic and contemporary styles in a sophisticated new dining concept exclusively for guests age 18 and older. From the moment guests walk through the door at Remy, they are transported to a fine French dining experience. Chef Arnaud Lallement from l’Assiette Champenoise, a Michelin three-star restaurant just outside Reims, France, and Chef Scott Hunnel from award-winning Victoria & Albert’s at Walt Disney World Resort have collaborated to create a French-inspired menu featuring superior products and seasonal ingredients sourced from around the world. Dinner at Remy is a lavish and leisurely affair, starting with a signature chilled Taittinger Champagne cocktail made tableside, followed by eight to nine small courses complemented by a stellar wine list. Lallement’s cuisine is simple and stylish, earning l’Assiette Champenoise three stars from Michelin – the highest possible honor. Hunnel’s innovative dishes garnered Victoria & Albert’s the coveted AAA Five Diamonds, a rating accorded a mere 0.19 percent of restaurants in North America and the Caribbean. Polished touches at Remy include a tableside trolley for serving international cheeses and decanting stations for wines. Guests may order from two tastings menus that include wine pairings, or order a la carte from the menu. With a subtle nod to the hit Disney•Pixar film “Ratatouille” and its petite French star Remy, the softly lit main dining room with seating for 80 is designed in art nouveau style. The famous Remy character is subtly and artfully integrated into the design. Tables are elegantly set with Frette linens, Riedel glassware, Christofle silverware and Bernadaud china made exclusively for Remy, with gracious accents such as purse stools for women’s handbags. The attentive serving staff is part of the sophisticated story, dressed in long white aprons, black jackets or burgundy vests and bow ties. A private Chef’s Table dining room, Chez Gusteau (inspired by the fictional Paris restaurant in “Ratatouille”), seats eight. The intimate room is furnished with rich décor inspired by the film— bold, red carpet, chairs and drapes with touches of gold, opulent chandeliers, and scenes of Paris on the walls. Guests also may dine in the glass-walled wine room amid more than 900 bottles of wine. Once dinner is booked and guests are on board, they are invited to meet with a sommelier in Remy’s glass-walled wine room to taste and pre-select their wines for the evening. The restaurant offers two wine lists: a special French list with 200 vintages from most every region in France, and Remy’s Vault, a separate and exclusive wine list with rare wines from all over the world. Select wines from the French list also are available by the glass. From Remy’s Vault, 22 wines are selected as the best of the best, presented by white-gloved sommeliers in an elegant velvet box that opens like a book with the name of each wine engraved on a silver-plated plaque. The list includes a 1947 Château Cheval Blanc, another nod to “Ratatouille” (the wine requested by the movie’s food critic). Considered one of the best vintages in the world, a single bottle of Château Cheval Blanc retails for $25,000. After-dinner libations include Rémy Martin Louis XIII Rare Cask, one of the most sought-after cognacs for connoisseurs, aged in centuries-old casks and served from an elegant Baccarat crystal decanter, and a rare bottle of 43-year-old Camus Cuvee 4.176 Cognac, presented in an engraved Baccarat crystal decanter. The dinner experience at Remy is $125 per person, plus the cost of wine and other alcoholic beverages. Optional wine pairings selected from the French list are offered at $120. Remy offers an elegant Champagne brunch on sea days and select port days. The brunch features a decadent six-course French-inspired meal and a selection of Champagnes to perfectly pair with each dish. Brunch at Remy is $75 per person and includes one complimentary glass of Champagne. An optional Champagne pairing is offered at an additional $30 per person. Meridian Nestled between Palo and Remy is Meridian, a cozy getaway with a décor inspired by the early days of sea travel. The venue features a sextant navigational tool embedded in the floor, banquettes with buckles to resemble old steamer trunks and leather maps embossed with passport stamps from around the world adorning the walls. Enchanting Nightlife — Europa Europa is the Disney Fantasy’s passport to “nightlife” – a veritable continent of adult fun, without any borders. Guests age 18 and older can go “country hopping” among clubs, pubs and lounges that celebrate Europe – all in a single location: Deck 4, Aft. The five “nightspots” whisk guests to Italy, Ireland, England, France and, depending upon the moment, Greece, Spain, Hungary or Russia for sipping and socializing, dancing, watching and rooting or just plain hanging out, lounging and winding down. Each of the clubs is meticulously themed and designed to serve up treats for the eyes and ears as well as tantalizing libations. Skyline Imagine a luxury penthouse – metropolitan and modern – perched high above the city – or in this case, one of several great European cities – with a panoramic view of the urban landscape below and to the horizon. That’s the chic and spectacular experience in Skyline. Skyline is an ever-changing venue. Throughout the evening, the views take guests on a journey to St. Petersburg, Russia; Athens, Greece; Florence, Italy; Budapest, Hungary; Paris; London and Barcelona. Tall “windows” along one wall allow guests to gaze upon a variety of magnificent cityscapes. The “windows” are seven large screens sequenced to fill a wall with a breathtaking skyline that changes from place to place. And as guests relax amid lustrous wood and metal finishes in this sleek “penthouse” living room complete with a digital fireplace, not just the view but also the menu changes. Signature cocktails, inspired by the Skyline cities, are infused with fresh herbs and fruits, such as Barcelona’s El Conquistador with strawberry, basil and fresh cracked pepper; the Aphrodite from Athens with thyme, coriander, rosemary, basil and mint; and Florence’s Sogno di Cioccolato with sweet cocoa, agave nectar and whipped cream. The Tube From the top of the town at Skyline, the nightlife adventure “descends” to The Tube, a high- energy club that draws some of its thematic inspiration from London’s many train stations. The Tube is designed for an action-packed night of fun and dancing. Guests “mind the gap” as they walk across a Tube route map into a vibrant metropolitan club that is a rocking celebration of England and pop culture: “Mod” furniture, an illuminated Union Jack dance floor and four iconic English phone booths are design highlights. The mixologist created six cocktails inspired by The Tube – including the 1863 (the year the train opened) with vanilla vodka and Imperial English Breakfast Tea. O’Gills Pub O’Gills Pub, a rollicking Irish bar, features dark woods and brass accents reminiscent of the friendly neighborhood pubs throughout Ireland – but includes a modern twist: flat-screen televisions that are all the better for watching live sporting events. And, of course, there are those pints to celebrate with, including a red lager draft made especially for the pub. O’Gills Pub also has its own private label Irish Cream and vintage Irish whisky. For a real treat, ask for the Blarney Stone Tasting flight with O’Gills Irish Cream, Kilbeggan Irish Whisky and Irish coffee. Ooh La La The name says it all: reminiscent of an elegant French boudoir, Ooh La La is a whimsical treat for the eyes and the palate. Guests can recline on a Louis XIV chaise lounge and engage in a sprightly tête-à-tête. Favorite drinks include the Fantasy’s limited edition, private label Ooh La La Champagne by Taittinger, served from the bar inspired by a jewelry box and backed with sparkling diamond-like facets. Victorian furniture, velvet-tufted walls and ornate mirrors – in addition to the sensuous color palate – further enhance the reverie. La Piazza Next-door neighbor to Ooh La La is a lounge inspired by picturesque Italian cities and their decorative plazas. The centerpiece of La Piazza is a bar modeled after a colorful vintage carousel. There are Venetian masks and a classic Vespa with a sidecar and romantic couples’ booths, adding to the Italian flair. All in all, La Piazza is a bright, colorful piece of Italy that just may have guests saying Salute as they toast to the evening – and to a fun-filled night ahead in Europa. The bar menu includes classic Italian drinks, such as sparkling Prosecco, Moretti Peroni beer, red and white wines, grappa, limoncello and after-dinner sips served with almond biscottis. Senses Spa and Senses Fitness Senses Spa & Salon provides tranquility, pampering and relaxation in an ocean-view environment that spans more than 16,000 square feet. 21 private treatment rooms – offering a menu of luxurious spa treatments and services such as massages, body wraps and facials. Specialized areas include a steam bath, steam room, tiled sauna and aromatic showers evoking everything from a waterfall to tropical rain to a refreshing mist. Two lavish couple’s spa villas – for the ultimate indulgence, the villas feature an indoor spa treatment suite, a personal whirlpool hot tub, shower and a plush, double lounge chair. Quiet Cove Pool District Adults can also bask in warm tropical breezes at the Quiet Cove Pool on Deck 11. Quiet Cove Pool, a multi-level pool with varying depths from a six-inch deep sunbathing pool to a four-foot plunge pool, features the ultimate “watering hole”: Cove Bar is a part of the pool. Also located in the adults-only area on Deck 11 is Cove Café. With a warm, comfortable design, Cove Café is a peaceful retreat where adults can sit back, breathe in the aroma of freshly brewing java, sip a gourmet coffee or read a magazine or book. On deck 13, Satellite Sun Deck includes a water feature called Satellite Falls, a circular splash pool with benches and a gently falling rain curtain that provides cool comfort. Around this upper deck, adult guests can soak up the sun in loungers or relax in the shade under a canopy.
