From Asia to Africa, you’ll have fun discovering fascinating animals and wild rides! Tree of Life All that exploring can bring on hunger and when it does, you’ll want to know the BEST snacks to track down. We’re talking about desserts, savory bites, and not-to-be-missed treats in Walt Disney World. So, grab your Safari Squad and let’s dive into the BEST snacks at Animal Kingdom. But before you head to a Quick Service Restaurant, check to see if the spot has Mobile Order available. That can save you time because you won’t have to wait in line to order! Corn on the Cob from Harambe Fruit Market You might walk right past Harambe Fruit Market and think there’s nothing “special” worth getting there but you’d be making a BIG mistake. The Corn on the Cob here is NOT to be overlooked. Harambe Fruit Market Corn You can get this with or without African spices. Cheeseburger Steamed Pods from Satu’li Canteen We love to get a fast food meal at Satu’li Canteen in Pandora — The World of Avatar. The theming for this spot fits right in with the land, as it’s a mess hall for the RDA that was converted into a peaceful dining location for visitors to Pandora. Did someone say Cheeseburger Pods? We’re big fans of the Cheeseburger Steamed Pods, which are basically cheeseburger-flavored bao buns! You can learn how to make Cheeseburger Pods at HOME here! Baked Mac & Cheese from Eight Spoon Cafe This spot has some truly unique snacks like the baked mac ‘n’ cheese with pulled pork. Also, makes a great meal! Baked Macaroni and Cheese with Pulled Pork at Eight Spoon Cafe Eight Spoon doesn’t fail when it comes to incredible Pulled Pork Mac as each part of the snack meshes together wonderfully. BEST Value Restaurants at Disney World for 2023 Churros from Nomad Lounge The standout of our visits to Nomad Lounge is usually those CHURROS! Nomad Lounge Churros and Dipping Sauces They come with vanilla bean and strawberry chili dipping sauces, which are just fantastic. REVIEW: NEW Eats Come to Nomad Lounge in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Chicken Fried Rice from Yak and Yeti Local Foods Cafe Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with hearty portions of pan-Asian specialties. Chicken Fried Rice While the Chicken Fried Rice is sold as a side item, it’s definitely hearty enough for a small meal! Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich from Dino-Bite Snacks This unassuming little snack cart actually serves up one of our favorite Animal Kingdom snacks! At Dino-Bite Snacks, you’ll find a delightful Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich. St. Patrick’s Day Ice Cream Sandwich Not only is the original version delicious, but depending on when you visit you might be able to snag a specialty or limited-time treat. Review: We Wanted To Hate This New Treat in Disney World Impossible Empanadas at Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery Don’t underestimate the Impossible Empanadas made with flaky Latin dough filled with plant-based picadillo. Impossible empanadas So here’s the thing — we found it to be VERY delicious. The plant-based “meat” tasted very similar to beef and was well-seasoned with what reminded us of African or Indian spices. This snack was also very hearty. Grab your food, then you can enjoy the seating area right on the Discovery River! Seasoned Fries from Mr. Kamal’s in Disney’s Animal Kingdom The portion on the Seasoned Fries is pretty generous, and they are nice and fluffy on the inside.
