Being a Disney Annual Passholder has some perks.

Disney World Annual Pass

You get access to the parks 365 days a year, you get special merchandise, and even exclusive menu items. But as we know, things at Disney are constantly changing, and even Annual Passholders have to adapt. In 2024, we have TWO changes heading our way. One is good and one, well, not so much.

Good-to-Go Days

Disney previously announced “Good to Go” days for Annual Passholders and Cast Members. On these days, annual passholdrs will be able to enter the parks without a Park Pass Reservation. Note that Annual Passholders and Cast Members still need to make Park Pass Reservations on most days, even after Park Passes disappear for date-based tickets on January 9th, 2024. The “Good to Go” days are an exception to this rule

Entering the Park

Disney previously said that these “Good to Go” days would begin sometime in 2024, but now we know that they’ll start in January. Disney notes that “the theme park reservation calendar will be updated periodically and will show Passholders select days when they may visit a Disney World theme park without needing a theme park reservation.” That means that you can see the “Good to Go” days on a rolling basis, so you won’t be able to see the whole year right away.

These Good to Go dates will replace the current Bonus Days — days in which Passholders can make a reservation without it counting against their reservation limit. Keep in mind, however, that Blockout days still apply. This will allow passholders flexibility in making park reservations.

Price Increases

Now for the bad news. It’s no secret that Disney is getting more expensive. Recently, we have seen price increases in multiple areas of Disney World. The cost of Disney World Annual Passes just went up $30-$50, depending on the pass type.

The new prices for Disney World Annual Passes are as follows:

  • Incredi-Pass: $1449 (previously $1399)
  • Sorcerer Pass: $999 (previously $969)
  • Pirate Pass: $799 (previously $749)
  • Pixie Dust Pass: $439 (previously $399)

Prices at nearly every restaurant in Disney World have increased. Restaurants inside the theme parks, at the hotels, and in Disney Springs have all been impacted by these changes. Some of the most notable price increases occurred at character dining restaurants, including popular spots like Chef Mickey’sCinderella’s Royal TableBe Our Guest, and ‘Ohana (which only offers a character meal for breakfast).
