Disney4me Posted October 21, 2023 Report Share Posted October 21, 2023 Disney has been going ALL OUT for its 100th Anniversary Celebration. ©Disney Can you blame the company, though? 100 years is a very big deal! We’ve seen a lot of the celebration happen over in Disneyland, but the celebration recently made its way to EPCOT, too. We’ll also soon get a new 100th Anniversary nighttime show in EPCOT, Luminous: The Symphony of Us. Luminous will debut on December 5th, 2023, so it will be coming up soon. Disney has stated the show is meant to “reflect the commonality in all of us” by inviting “everyone to gather around World Showcase Lagoon for a show that will unite us through commonalities of the heart in a dazzling display of fireworks, lasers, music and light.” We’ve also seen some concept art for the show. ©Disney Well, thanks to its new page on the Disney World website, we’ve got a little more information about the show. The website states, “Delight in a dramatic show designed to bring us all together. Marvel at a dazzling pageant of fireworks, fountains, music and lights set to an original composition. New music, along with evocative selections from the Disney songbook, come together to remind us that we are more alike than we are different.” Did we mention the website also features NEW concept art? Well, it does! Take a look below. ©Disney We’ve seen some new structures in World Showcase Lagoon recently, presumably in preparation for the show, but that’s all we know about it right now.
