Disney4me Posted October 23, 2023 Report Share Posted October 23, 2023 A LOT of changes have happened in Disneyland! Pixar Place Hotel Earlier this year, the entirety of ToonTown got a facelift. A NEW Tiana-themed restaurant was also constructed. TONS of new restaurants are coming to Downtown Disney. In addition, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel has been getting reimagined as Pixar Place Hotel, and we have a BIG update to share with you. We’ve already seen some of its new artwork and decor in this reimagined location — most of the work in the hotel’s lobby has already been completed. It’s full of Pixar murals and little Easter eggs just ready for Pixar fans to discover. Soon, the transformation will be complete — the official opening date has been announced! Finding Nemo mural in Pixar Place Lobby On January 30th, 2024, Pixar Place Hotel will officially open, becoming the first fully Pixar-theme hotel in the United States! You’ll be able to catch tons of references to your favorite Pixar characters around the lobby with colorful art and decor. ©Disney The reimagined guest rooms will also feature some of your favorite Pixar icons. Pillows inspired by the Pixar Lamp, headboards with concept art from movies like The Incredibles and Toy Story 3, and more will make you feel like you jumped right into one of their classic films. ©Disney The hotel will also be getting a new eatery from a Southern California favorite, Great Maple. According to Disney, “this modern American eatery specializes in upscale comfort food with a twist, serving fresh takes on American classics for breakfast, lunch and dinner.” Great Maple The new Pixel Pool opened to guests on August 1st, 2023 where they can take a ride on Crush’s Surfin’ Slide. A new water play area inspired by Finding Nemo is also coming soon. ©Disney We’re so excited about these new updates and look forward to seeing it all for ourselves soon.
