Polynesian Village Resort A ride might malfunction, the weather could put a damper on your day, and your hotel could even be evacuated. That’s exactly what happened to some folks at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort this morning! Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort hotel was evacuated on the morning of October 25, 2023. Disney’s Polynesian Village Fox 35 Orlando reports, “An employee was mixing two chemicals that should not have been mixed, the fire department said. The reaction caused employees to evacuate the kitchen while firefighters checked out the scene,” per the Reedy Creek Fire Department. No one was injured and “no guests were affected” per Fox 35 Orlando. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort We hopped on the Monorail to see for ourselves and were able to get off at the Polynesian station. Things appeared normal by the time we arrived, as we were allowed to enter the hotel and walk around. There were other people walking around the resort, and Capt.
