Disney4me
Disney Springs is a fantastic place to go when you want to stay in the Disney magic but step out of the parks for a little bit. Disney Springs There are tons of different restaurants to experience, shops to explore, and you can even see a Cirque Du Soleil show! If you’re a big fan of Jaleo by Chef José Andrés, like we are, check out the menu for their strawberry festival this year! This year’s Festival de Fresas is in partnership with Florida’s Southern Hill Farms, and you can enjoy it from January 29th through February 18th at the Disney Springs Jaleo location. Guests can enjoy a menu of sweet and savory specials curated by Head Chef Kristoffer Anderson. ©Jaleo This event isn’t really like the festivals in EPCOT. It’s on a much smaller scale and mostly just includes special, limited-time menu items at the restaurant! These menu items all use locally grown strawberries from Clermont, FL. ©Jaleo So what can you find at this event? You’ll be able to try eats like the following: Bright strawberry gazpacho Scallop crudo accented with sweet berries A special strawberries and cream dessert Avant-garde Cono de Fresa y Queso Mamá Marisa A signature Jaleo small bite of strawberry marmalade and blue cheese decorated with crumbled pistachios But there’s more! If you visit Jaleo during the festival this year, you’ll get an exclusive offer for a “U-Pick Strawberries” experience at Southern Hill Farms. The farm is located on 120 acres of land and has strawberry, blueberry, peach, and sunflower u-pick activities from December to May each year. ©Jaleo You’ll need to make reservations for this event, which you can do below!
