Without a doubt, food has become a MAJOR attraction at the Disneyland Resort!

Disneyland’s Tomorrowland is home to several popular attractions, but it also is a solid spot to find some underrated eats! In fact, during a recent visit, we discovered some NEW offerings at the two restaurants inside the land and we just have to tell you about them!

We tried a brand-new veggie-based pizza and berry-infused limeade at Disneyland and — spoiler alert — they are definitely worth your attention! Let’s take a look!

Artichoke and Pesto Pizza at Aliens Pizza Planet

Let’s start with the Artichoke and Pesto Pizza slice at Alien Pizza PlanetThis slice costs $8.99 and is made with artichoke hearts, pickled red onions, mixed olives, tomatoes, feta cheese, and mozzarella with Parmesan, served with an Alfredo cream sauce and pesto drizzle.

Veggie fans should give it a try!

Within the first mouthful, you can taste each ingredient, so if there’s something on this pizza you know you don’t like, you may want to pick it off or avoid the pizza altogether. With that said, we thought this pizza was a solid entry to the Alien Pizza Planet menu. It comes off as a healthier pizza alternative and provides a lot of taste variety to differentiate from the classic cheese and pepperoni.

The red onions, artichoke, feta, and pesto really stood out positively, although we would’ve liked maybe a little more tomatoes, olives, and pesto. With that said, there were still enough of those ingredients on our slice that we didn’t complain.

The crust was nice and fluffy and, again, we had no complaints. It’s crazy that we wanted MORE of the ingredients with how much is going on with this pizza but that just goes to show that the flavors all worked together. It was almost like eating a fancy pesto pasta in pizza form!

Although it’s almost like pesto pasta, we still recommend bypassing a fork!

Overall, we still don’t think kiddos will take too well to this veggie pizza. Parents with a more refined palate, on the other hand, will likely prefer this healthier option that is packed with flavor. If you don’t mind paying nearly $9 for a slice of pizza and don’t have the simple taste buds of Walt Disney (who was notoriously anti-vegetable), then we think you should give this pizza a try!

Over at Galactic Grillwe found the Blackberry Sky Splash for $6.29. This drink consists of blackberry-infused limeade garnished with a blackberry coulis and cucumbers. This drink has all the makings of a great mocktail and we’re happy to report it was very tasty!

Blackberry Sky Splash at Galactic Grill

Like most limeades, this blackberry-infused one is pretty tart, but none more so than any other limeade. We found that letting the ice melt a bit cut out the tartness just a tad without compromising the flavor. At its core though, this is a really solid limeade that would be fine on its own, but the garnishes really take this drink from tasty to enjoyably memorable.

The garnishes put this drink over the top

With every sip you get a healthy whiff of the cucumbers, adding a totally new dimension to this drink. The blackberry also provided the overwhelming sweet flavor of the drink. It smells and tastes like the perfect summer vacation mocktail and the blend of cucumbers, limeade, and fresh blackberry made for an incredibly refreshing and tropical beverage.

You can find this beverage in Tomorrowland!

So who will like this Blackberry Sky Splash? People who like fruity drinks, cucumber, blackberry, different flavors of limeade, and a drink that resembles a cocktail without alcohol. We also think it could work as an introduction to cucumber in drinks for the kiddos if that’s something they’re averse to. People who are opposed to tart limeades or cucumber should probably avoid it. Overall, we can safely say this is a drink we will get again and we recommend trying it the next time you find yourself in Tomorrowland!
