Disney4me
We go to Disney World every single day of the year. That gives us around 365 days to forget something, lose something, or wish we had something with us while visiting the parks. Magic Kingdom We’ve learned a thing or two about what to have in our park bag. What you decide to bring with you can make your day better or, unfortunately, worse. We’ve made the mistake of forgetting items we needed or not bringing something with us that would have been nice to have. So let us make the mistakes for you, and take our word for it when we say these next 12 items will save your day in the parks. You might second guess these items, but if you remember to slip them in your bag before heading to the parks, you’ll thank us later! Don’t overlook the small stuff. Band-Aids You never know when you or your kids will trip and scuff a knee! It’s good to be prepared. ©Amazon Disney does offer some first aid services, which is great, but it’s usually at Guest Relations all the way to the front of the park. For small scrapes and cuts, having some small Band-Aids with you can be a great idea! VIEW ON AMAZON Portable Mini Fan In the middle of the summer, we do everything we can to keep our cool (literally and figuratively)! ©Amazon The heat of the summer in Florida is no joke, so take it from us, using a portable mini fan like this can be a game changer. So many lines are outside without air conditioning, so keep this little fan tucked away in your bag for any time you need it. VIEW ON AMAZON Cooling Towels While the mini fan is great, its effects can be doubled if you also have a cool towel hanging around your neck! ©Amazon Soak one of these towels in some cold water and wear it around your neck to feel refreshed. We wouldn’t make it through a day in the summer heat if it wasn’t for having these with us! VIEW ON AMAZON Reusable Zipping Bags There are SO many great reasons for bringing a reusable bag with you to the parks. ©Amazon When you’re not using your cooling towel, but it’s already damp, just slip it into your waterproof reusable bag to keep everything else in your park bag dry. These can also be great for keeping little snacks with you so you don’t have to pay for a snack every time your stomach growls! VIEW ON AMAZON Spray Deodorant If you’re prone to sweating or want to keep your whole body feeling fresh, give a spray deodorant a try! ©Amazon This Native spray deodorant is for your whole body (“pits, privates, & more”), so you can stay in the hot sun all day and not feel like a sweaty mess. Trust us, this will make your day a little less miserable if you don’t like being sweaty! VIEW ON AMAZON Travel Flossers Eating is a huge part of our Disney World trips. We go there for the rides, but stay for the food! ©Amazon When you’re eating meat, sushi, pineapples, or anything else, you can end up with stringy bits stuck in your teeth. Nobody wants to be the person who smiles at a Cast Member with a chunk of their lunch still hanging out in their teeth. These flossing picks are perfect since they come in a convenient carrying case! VIEW ON AMAZON Blotting Sheets The humidity in Florida is relentless. It doesn’t matter what time of year, there is always a high moisture content. ©Amazon This can cause a lot of excess moisture, oil, and sweat to accumulate on your face. Don’t mess up the makeup that you took so much time doing with paper towels or toilet paper; use some convenient blotting tissues instead! VIEW ON AMAZON SPF Setting Powder Setting powder can also help with the excess oil and moisture on your face! ©Amazon This setting powder will help absorb any excess moisture and oil while also providing a barrier against the sun with its SPF content. It can help keep you refreshed and looking good! VIEW ON AMAZON Mini Dry Shampoo We’ve mentioned the high humidity and heat a few times already, and we’ll continue preaching — you’ve gotta be ready for it! ©Amazon A small travel-sized dry shampoo is never a bad idea! By the middle of the afternoon, you’re hair may need a pick-me-up! Dry shampoo can help bring some life back into your hair (and take away some of the frizz!). VIEW ON AMAZON Megababe Anti-Chafe Stick You’ll thank us for this one, especially. ©Amazon Rescue your thighs with an anti-chafe stick! You’ll keep moving and the friction will be way less. Don’t let chaffing slow you down on your Disney trip. VIEW ON AMAZON Fuel Rod Disney keeps you on your phone all the time in the parks, now. ©Amazon It’s pretty likely that by the end of the day, you’ll need a power-up. Bringing a fuel rod into the parks is a must! These are small enough to fit into your bag and shouldn’t cause issues at security (unless you have several)! VIEW ON AMAZON Slip Shorts If you like to wear dresses or skirts, getting in and out of rides can be tricky. ©Amazon But if you throw these shorts on underneath, you’ll be safe from chafing and any ride mishaps! We swear by them on our skirt-wearing days. VIEW ON AMAZON We hope these items and tips help you on your Disney World vacation! In the meantime, keep following DFB for more Disney news!
