Disney4me
CAUTION: You may become extremely hungry if you keep reading! Refreshment Port It’s time for the 2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, and we’ve got a lot to see, do, and EAT! -From Outdoor Kitchens (also known as Food Booths) to the Festival’s famous Disney topiaries, garden displays, and entertainment — there’s never a dull moment. Join us as we review Refreshment Port to see if it lives up to its reputation as a deserving fan-favorite booth once again this year! Menu At Refreshment Port, we spy a new item that is a new approach to the rotating poutine variation! 2024 Refreshment Port Menu This booth is full of new items, and we can’t wait to dig in! Eats First up, we grabbed the new Plant-based Buffalo Chicken Tender Poutine. This is plant-based buffalo chicken bites served on top of crispy potato barrels (tater tots) with ranch and plant-based blue cheese crumbles. You can grab this tasty dish for $10 And don’t forget, this Plant-Based item is part of the Garden Graze food stroll, so be sure to get your passport stamped! Plant-based Buffalo Chicken Tender Poutine We LOVED this dish. We think it is one of the best plant-based dishes that the festival has to offer. The potato barrels were super crispy and helped with the texture of the dish. We also liked that it came with both ranch and blue cheese crumble. Both the ranch and the blue cheese balanced each other’s flavors. We will say that the buffalo sauce was not super spicy, but the ranch helped cool that buffalo flavor off. We would 100% get this again! And to go along with your dishes… Drinks In terms of drinks on this menu, we’ve got a returning cocktail and a new hard cider to whet our whistles! We’re starting out with the returning cocktail, the Frozen Mojito with Boyd & Blair Rum. Last year we thought this mojito was bright, crisp, and delicious! A great choice on hot days, but unfortunately melts very quickly. The citrusy taste is a bit tart as well. Frozen Mojito with Boyd & Blair Rum This year when we got the cocktail it was not as frozen as we had hoped it would be. We were pleasantly surprised with how strong the cocktail was since the beverages are normally pre-mixed. There was a kick of mint and a bit of a sour and tart taste. You can grab this cocktail for $13. If mojitos aren’t your thing, you can also get the Villa Maria Earth Garden Sauvignon Blanc for $6.50. Next up, we’re getting the new beverage, the Country Boy Brewing Orange Cream Hard Cider. Country Boy Brewing Orange Cream Hard Cider We think this drink is a good introductory drink for those who might just be starting to like cider or beer. This drink is on the sweeter side and reminded us of a citrus-cream soda with a tickle at the end since it is cider. You can grab this hard cider for $12. OVERALL Normally when we see the menu for Refreshment Port we are super excited to try the new items, but are often let down. This was NOT the case this time around. We highly recommend the Plant-based Buffalo Chicken Tender Poutine and think it is one of the best plant-based foods at the festival. Even if you are not a plant-based eater, you would like this dish and we would go back for it! Full spread Click here to see FULL reviews of EVERY BOOTH at the 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival!
