Disney4me
If it seems like Disney World is plagued with constant construction, then you’re not making it up. We’ve seen tons of construction ongoing around EPCOT, Disney World hotel expansions, bathrooms, and tons of Disney World hotel pools have been closed off and on for most of this year. Ongoing construction While we’ve seen tons of menu changes happening all over Disney World, too, that doesn’t necessarily mean there’s no room to be made for new restaurants. This seems to be especially true at Disney Springs. When we’re not visiting Disney World’s various theme and water parks, chances are you’ll find us hanging out in Disney Springs. The shopping and dining district is a hotspot of activity for those who are looking for a little bit of the Disney touches to their regular day without needing a park ticket. Disney Springs Most recently, Disney Springs has been a big topic of conversation due to their new nighttime entertainment that will only last for a limited time. Disney Dreams That Soar truly is a spectacular way to end your evening at Disney Springs, but if you’ve found yourself strolling the expansive area that Disney Springs truly takes up, you might notice MORE construction happening here than ever before! Disney Dreams That Soar No, we’re not talking about the outdoor seating area expansion for Chicken Guy! right now, but if you follow Disney Springs towards its backside, you’ll eventually find construction walls up around a few of our favorite restaurants. While passing by Raglan Road, we noticed a spot just adjacent under major construction. Chicken Guy Construction At first glance, we were concerned that these new walls meant that one of the area bars, The Hole In The Wall, was under construction (or worse, leaving Disney Springs), however, that didn’t seem to be the case. The Hole In The Wall For now, it seems The Hole In The Wall is safe, however, it might be seeing neighboring competition! It turns out the construction walls did give us some clue after all! They’re covered with artist renderings showing plans for a small outdoor bar seating where we’re invited to a saved seat. Construction From the looks of it, it seems that Paddy’s Bar is the name of the new space, and it will also be inspired by Irish pub influences! When we spoke to a Cast Member nearby at Raglan Road, we were told that Paddy’s Bar will be replacing the beer cart they usually have out in front of the restaurant. The idea here is they’re aiming to turn it into a sit-down spot! However, they weren’t certain of when we could expect to see this new addition open and hoped it was soon. Paddy’s Bar While we still have lots to learn about this new space such as its theming and how it will fit in between neighboring Raglan Road Restaurant AND The Hole In The Wall, let alone its menu, it seems we still have ample time to learn more about it. Don’t fret though, because you know we’ll be scoping it out as soon as Paddy’s Bar is ready to make more announcements about their move into Disney Springs.
