Disney4me
We’re dreaming of sunny skies, blue waters, and sandy beaches. ©Disney Disney Cruise Line offers adventures, relaxation, delicious food, and fun experiences. We love to be in a Disney atmosphere while sailing on the high seas. Plus, the journey is just as great as the destinations. Speaking of cruise destinations, Disney’s brand-new cruise destination in the Bahamas, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, is now open for you to visit! We stopped by and checked out the “adults-only” areas of the spaces. We know it’s great to vacation with the whole family, but once in a while, we adults need some grown-up time. That’s why these “adults-only” locations at Lookout Cay are great. You get a little rest and relaxation — kid-free. Lookout Cay Here on Lookout Cay, there is an adults-only beach called Serenity Bay. It includes a dedicated dining area and six private cabanas available to reserve and is exclusive to guests 18 years of age and older. Once you make your way down the pathway, you’ll come across the cabanas which also have direct beach access. Serenity Bay Cabanas After you pass the cabanas, you’ll find Serenity Bay BBQ — the adults-only buffet that serves up island eats with a bit more peace and quiet than the other dining locations on the island. Serenity Bay BBQ You’ll find a good amount of seating in the shade here, but if your cruise happens to have more adults, you could have trouble grabbing a seat depending on how crowded your sailing is. As far as the menu goes here, it’s pretty similar to what you’ll find at True-True BBQ and True-True Too BBQ in the family areas. Seating at Serenity Bay BBQ Since this is an adults-only area, of course, there’s a bar at Serenity Bay, too! The Blue Hole Bar serves up island-inspired cocktails and mocktails, plus beer and wine. The Blue Hole Bar Of course, there is a family-friendly beach at Lookout Cay, as well. On the East side of the island, you’ll find a beach for everyone, and there’s an interactive water play area. But we are pretty excited about this adult-exclusive beach! We had fun checking out all that Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point had to offer during our trip and still have more to share, so stay tuned to Disney Food Blog!
