Disney4me
Happy 626 Day, otherwise known as 6/26! If there’s one thing we love, it’s a fun Disney holiday, and Disney came prepared to celebrate this year. Before we talk about all the fun limited-time treats available now, we should probably stop by and say hi to Stitch. Everybody say “HIIII STITCH.” Hey Stitch! Great. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s talk treats. In honor of 626 Day, Disney released some special treats inspired by Stitch! Wanna see what we tried? Spoiler alert: there was a lot of BLUE involved. Let’s go! Let’s start over at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs! Here, we tried the Experiment 626 Éclair, which is a passion fruit and mango éclair. It’s available now through June 30th for $7.25. Cute, right? Experiment 626 Eclair Luckily, the flavor was just as good as the appearance! The fruity flavors here were perfectly subtle and not overpowering. It worked SO well as a dessert, and we seriously enjoyed this treat. Isn’t it LOVELY?! This is the new Lilo & Stitch POG Slushy from Amorette’s Patisserie! It’s arrived just in time for a refreshing break from the heat! #626Day pic.twitter.com/xcqaHHYmEs — Disney Food Blog (@DisneyFoodBlog) June 26, 2024 The cream filling in the middle is the same as the topping, and it complements the crumbly éclair pastry so nicely. This treat is citrusy, sweet, and filling. We highly recommend giving it a try! YUM! Amorette’s Patisserie is also serving a fun Lilo and Stitch Slushy with Frozen Minute Maid Passion Fruit Orange and Guava Juice, topped with whipped cream and an edible Lilo and Stitch image. This one is $6.50! Lilo and Stitch Slushy Here at DFB, we’re BIG fans of POG (Passion Fruit Orange and Guava Juice) treats, so we are happy to report that this one was another BIG winner! The most prevalent flavor here is the orange; it gives the slushy a nice, citrusy taste without being too tart. The whipped cream topping was pretty standard, but in combination with the POG juices, we felt like it didn’t totally work. That said, this was a great, refreshing summer treat that is perfect for Stitch fans! Here’s a closer peek! Next stop, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! We headed straight for Pineapple Lanai to get the returning 626 Cone. Serious Disney fans may recognize this one — it’s a classic Stitch-shaped treat! It’s a blue vanilla soft-serve cone with flavors of cotton candy, topped with Stitch ear chocolate. You can get it for $5.79 on June 26th ONLY! Experiment 626 Cone Now, we were a little worried that this one would be a sweet, sticky mess between the blue color and the cotton candy description. Luckily, we found this to be a nice vanilla soft serve with just a light cotton candy blend that wasn’t overly sweet. It’s a returning hit, and we can see why. Let’s grab our first Stitch treat of 626 Day!! This is the Experiment 626 Cone at Pineapple Lanai! You’ve got blue vanilla soft serve and chocolate Stitch ears for $5.79! pic.twitter.com/SBLXQPsUde — Disney Food Blog (@DisneyFoodBlog) June 26, 2024 The white chocolate ears are fun to bite into and give a satisfying crunch. Just be prepared for it to be super melty — this is Florida, after all! It’s very BLUE! Phew! We hope Stitch is proud of our efforts snacking around Disney World today. Now, go make some mischief and tell your ‘ohana you love them!
