Rainy day in Magic Kingdom On top of the elements, you do A LOT of walking at Disney World, so you need to make sure you have comfortable shoes. There is one problem that could ruin your Disney World vacation if you are not careful with the type of shoes you wear. We asked Disney fans, AKA our awesome readers, if they experience this painful problem. We probably sound crazy for braving the elements to visit the parks, but we love it! However, you do walk a lot in Disney World, and blisters can RUIN your trip. While these fans have experienced the pain of blisters in Disney World, they also shared great tips to make sure you can avoid them on your next trip! Expect to do a lot of walking in Disney World One of our readers shared that they got caught in a downpour with a long walk ahead of them. At the time, they were wearing Crocs without socks, so their feet were sliding around in their shoes, resulting in big blisters on their heels. They bought Moleskin, which was a lifesaver! Walking in Animal Kingdom Another reader shared that they no longer get blisters at Disney World because they listened to AJ’s tip to bring Moleskin! It is tried and true! People walking in Magic Kingdom Another reader shared that KT Tape works great as a blister cover. This tape is worn by athletes and can withstand heat, which is especially important in Florida during the summer. Walking around World Showcase A reader shared that for them, “KT strips work like a champ!” KT tape is also a great way to secure Bandages and ensure that they do not peel or slip off throughout the day. You can precut strips and keep them with you in case you need to reapply. There’s a lot of walking involved! Another reader suggested using blister Bandaids as they have saved the day for them multiple times! Walking In Many other readers shared their stories, saying that “blister Bandages work great,” “I always carry blister Bandages with me,” and “blister bandages are AMAZING.” Be prepared to be on your feet! To carry all of your blister supplies, we suggest bringing a small pouch or first aid kit with you to the parks. This way, all of your supplies are in one place and not just thrown in your park bag.
